Fish the Sky is the home of recording engineer and musician Keith Michelson. I have been recording for the last 5 years and playing music for over 15. I got the itch to do this full time when my band Paxtin recorded at The Annex. Eventually they were kind enough to let me hang around during other sessions. I’ve also attended various recording workshops and classes including one at Jackpot Recording with Larry Crane in Portland, OR.

I have a great time recording and would like to keep it that way. I’m laid back and I don’t charge a lot or book too many bands. I also teach a recording class/internship at The Annex where you can learn all the fundamentals of recording, mixing & Pro Tools. It’s all hands on and you’ll learn on some of the best gear in the industry.
